What is pick-a-path?
Choose Your Own Adventure, or Secret Path Books is a series of children's gamebooks where each story is written from a second-person point of view, with the reader assuming the role of the protagonist and making choices that determine the main character's actions and the plot's outcome.
This is my first time building
a webfolio, the reason I chose this instead of a handmade portfolio is because
I am familiar with the Google templates. So, this is a way to make good use of
available resources since I know how to use the resources on Blogger. I might
say that this discipline is one of the best ones from this semester, because we
can create so many different genres of texts. The ones we have done so far were
so exciting, like the bio poem where we had to describe ourselves in a poem.
The texts we had to
create are important to our teaching skills, because if we know different
ways to produce a text, our students will not get bored of us. Thus, I really want
to teach English after my graduation, this is the field I am good at it.
The Week of Knowledge occurs every year at UPF and has its goal to share the experiences from the research fields as well as the extension and the teaching. This was my third year attending the event and in my opinion is a good way to share the experiences. The sessions that I attended were very interesting, there were students from the most different courses. There are so many different courses at UPF, we usually do not know what is happening in the campus and it is interesting to know about the researches in Engineering or in Odontology, for example.
